International Hotel Chains moving into Koh Phangan

17 Mar

Best Western International – The World’s Largest Hotel Chain® – has recently opened the new BEST WESTERN Phanganburi Resort on Koh Phangan, only 30 minutes boat ride from Koh Samui. The 96 room resort boasts a beautiful location on Koh Phangan’s serene Haad Rin Nai beach, called also Sun Set Beach. It offers to its guests a peaceful location ideal for secluded sunbathing and sunset strolls. Meanwhile, all the beach sports action, restaurants and nightclubs of Haad Rin Nok beach and Haad Rin Town are a few minutes’ walk away.

“BEST WESTERN Phanganburi Resort’s location offers the best of both worlds. The resort itself is a peaceful sanctuary of sun, sand and sea with comfortable accommodation and great facilities. At the same time, the bustling atmosphere of Haad Rin Nok beach and Haad Rin town are easily reached with a short stroll overland.” said Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations Asia and the Middle East, Glenn de Souza.

The arrival of the first international hotel brand in Koh Phangan provides additional alternative for those travelling to the already-famous destination. The new resort is Best Western’s 11th property in Thailand and adds yet another destination to the chain’s growing portfolio, which already includes Bangkok, Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and Phuket.

BEST WESTERN Phanganburi Resort’s guestrooms and cottages are air-conditioned with their own terrace or balcony and offers well appointed amenities as LCD TV with local and international channels, telephone, refrigerator, safety box, hairdryer, coffee/tea facilities and complimentary WiFi.
